Vintage Ceramique Fady Vallauris Leaf Dish French Retro - Ecume de Mer Glaze
A piece of French ceramic history handcrafted in the famous pottery hub of Vallauris, France in the Céramique Fady workshop. The deep, chocolatey browns and vibrant oranges are topped with a frothy, textured white drip effect that creates a dynamic, organic feel — a classic example of the "écume de mer" (sea foam) glaze for which the Fady workshop is renowned.
The gold paper label reading "VALLAURIS – EXÉCUTÉ MAIN" (Hand-Executed) is characteristic of artisanal production from the 1950s to the 1970s. Whether used as a bold centrepiece, a fruit bowl, or a stylish vide-poche, this is a classic example of mid-century French studio pottery.
