Shipping policy
Processing Time All orders are carefully packaged and dispatched within 1-2 business days of payment confirmation. As all items are vintage and antique collectibles, each piece is individually wrapped to ensure safe transit.
UK Delivery
- Standard delivery: 2-5 business days
- Tracked delivery: 1-3 business days
- We use Royal Mail and/or courier services depending on size and weight
- Please note that for heavier or oversized items exceeding 10kg, we use specialized courier services to ensure their safe arrival. As a result, these items may have a slightly longer transit time of 4–6 business days.
International Delivery
- Europe: 5-10 business days
- USA/Canada: 7-14 business days
- Rest of World: 10-21 business days
- All international orders are sent tracked and signed for
- We provide full documentation to ensure your antiques clear customs as smoothly as possible. While local import duties are the buyer's responsibility, many of our smaller items may enter the country duty-free under local thresholds.
Shipping Costs Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination and item weight. US tariffs are pre-paid by the seller.
UK delivery charges are based on the shipping weight of your order:
- Up to 0.5kg: £2.95
- 0.51kg–2kg: £4.25
- 2.01kg–10kg: £7.45
- 10.01kg–15kg: £12.95
- 15.01kg–30kg: £19.80
Your final delivery charge is shown at checkout before payment. International delivery charges vary by destination and order weight and are shown at checkout.
Fragile & Specialist Items All fragile items including ceramics, glassware, and porcelain are double-boxed and packed with professional-grade materials. We take every care to ensure safe delivery.
Lost or Damaged Items If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours at info@bshivedesign.co.uk with photographs. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
