French Antique Valentine Porcelain Vase, Wedding Bride Vase, Hand-Painted with Cobalt Blue & Gold, 19th Century

Description An important antique French porcelain vase produced by the Valentine manufacture in the mid-to-late 19th century. This style is sometimes called a "vase de mariés" (wedding vase) and was traditionally offered to newlyweds. The piece features a deep cobalt blue glaze and hand-painted polychrome floral bouquets within a white, ornate reserve. The high-quality porcelain is detailed with elegant gilt (gold) accents. Victorian era French porcelain history, for a collector or romantic home decor.
