A lovely Clarice Cliff Wall Plate, in the rare 'May Avenue' pattern, faithfully reproduced by Wedgwood in the late 20th century around the centenary of the famous ceramic designer’s birth. One from a set, 'The Best Loved Landscapes', in which Wedgwood recreated designs from the 1930s for collectors to cherish on the occasion of the centenary of renowned designer's birth.

The plate has a bold orange and black banded border, on a white Wedgwood earthenware body.
