Antique Japanese Imari Porcelain Plate (c.1880–1910)

A beautiful hand-painted Japanese Imari porcelain plate featuring vibrant red, cobalt blue, and green enamel decoration with floral and geometric motifs. The design includes stylized peony blossoms, leafy sprays, and a patterned central cartouche framed by bold cobalt and iron-red panels — all classic traits of Meiji-era Imari ware. This 9-inch plate has a gently scalloped rim and blue painted lines encircling the foot rim, typical of Arita porcelain from Kyushu, Japan. The piece is unmarked, as was common for export Imari of the period.
