Exquisite lead crystal penguin sculpture by world-renowned Swedish glass artist, Mats Jonasson.
Crafted at the historic Målerås Glassworks in Sweden, this piece features an intaglio-engraved duo of frosted penguins huddled beautifully together. The pair is seamlessly encased within a heavy, clear crystal block that is expertly hand-carved and textured along the outer rim to simulate a jagged glacial ice arch.
The striking contrast between the highly polished, brilliant clear glass and the finely detailed, softly frosted relief work allows ambient light to catch the penguins from every angle, giving the piece a magical, lifelike glow.

Artist Signature & Authentication
This piece is completely authenticated on the bottom base with a hand-etched diamond-point inscription reading: "RK. 3154 M. Jonasson".
"RK" (Royal Krona): Places production between 1974–1977, when Målerås was part of the Royal Krona group. This prefix firmly verifies its vintage 1970s heritage.
