This listing is for a beautiful, matching pair of vintage solid brass pedestal bowls featuring vibrant hand-painted Champlevé-style enamel work.
The interior and exterior of each bowl showcase an intricate floral and leaf pattern set against a brilliant turquoise-blue enamel background. The design is framed by a distinct, hand-etched scalloped rim and elevated on a classic flared brass base.
Artisan & Condition Details:
Flipping the bowls over reveals their authentic, hollow brass pedestal construction. Notably, one of the bowls features a handwritten orange/red artisan batch mark or numeric inventory code inside the inner rim of the base—a common practice used by historic Indian metalwork hubs (such as Moradabad, India) or vintage global import houses to catalog handcrafted lots.
Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition. The enamel remains bright and intact, and the raw brass bases display a lovely, light age-related patina that confirms their vintage authenticity.
