Rare Wedgwood Genius Collection "Frog" Service Plate - Beeston Castle Wedgwood Queen's Ware dessert plate from the prestigious Genius Collection. This piece is a faithful 1990s reproduction of the legendary "Frog" Service, originally commissioned by Empress Catherine the Great of Russia in 1773 for her "Frog Marsh" palace (Chesmensky Palace) . The original service was a masterpiece of 18th-century ceramic art, featuring over 900 hand-painted British landscapes . This specific plate features a beautifully detailed, sepia-toned "View of Beeston Castle in Cheshire" framed by a delicate vine border and the iconic green frog crest. Item
