Made of cast iron and featuring ornate details on the body and a separate, original weighing pan.
Internal spring balance components have been cleaned and tested as in full working order.
Some wear to the dial, consistent with use over the past 140+ years but this lovely item will go on for another 140 years - that cannot be said of modern kitchen scales!
A very collectable, practical and/or decorative addition to any kitchen.
