Vintage Chinese porcelain dipping dish in the distinctive "Mun Shou" (萬壽無疆 - Wàn Shòu Wú Jiāng) longevity pattern. Excellent unmarked condition. Pretty little bowl, very collectable. Product Detail Design: The dish features a vibrant coral red background with a continuous, stylized floral scroll pattern. Four white medallions contain the Chinese characters that collectively read "Wan Shou Wu Jiang," which translates to "boundless longevity" or "everlasting long life". The rim has a classic blue, green, red and yellow Greek key border. Origin: This pattern is characteristic of porcelain produced in the famous kilns of Jingdezhen, China. Period: Items with this specific stamped red mark and style are generally considered modern Chinese export porcelain, most likely dating from the mid-to-late 20th century, often cited as circa 1970s Use: This small size is commonly used as a soy sauce or condiments.
