Buchan Portobello Pottery, Scotland stoneware jug or vase c1960s.

Handpainted stoneware jug made by Buchan Pottery, Portobello, Scotland in the late 1960s. Buchan Pottery was established in 1867 by Alexander Buchan and closed in 2000.

This pattern is a series of boldly painted abstract flowers set in a band around the jug, with blue bands above and below, set on a white ground. 6.5" tall x 6" diameter. 6.5" spout to handle.

It is in very good condition - some tiny firing marks, otherwise free from crazing, chips, or cracks. No signs of use. Pictures form part of the listing so please look carefully before purchasing.
