This exquisite, heavy quality, antique Japanese plate features an intricate hand-painted scene of three immortals against a rich landscape backdrop, adorned with lavish gold detailing. The craftsmanship is typical of late-Meiji period Satsuma/Kutani-style ware, with finely detailed facial expressions, patterned robes, and raised enamel work. Rare design. The bowl displays a traditional red hand-painted Japanese mark on the base which dates it to the late 19th to early 20th century. Details: Origin: Japan Period: Late Meiji to early Taishō era (circa 1890–1920) Material: Porcelain/earthenware with overglaze enamel and gilt decoration Diameter: 21cms Condition: Excellent antique condition with minimal age wear; vibrant colors and gold remain intact.
