Antique Lignum Vitae Snuff Box & Art Deco Bakelite Compact Mirror Box
A wonderful pair of antique miniature boxes, each a fine example of early 20th-century craftsmanship and design.
Lignum Vitae Screw-Lid Box
Beautifully handcrafted from Lignum Vitae — one of the hardest and densest woods in the world, prized for its extraordinary fine grain and natural lustre. The screw top lid fits precisely, and the box contains a delicate ceramic insert, suggesting use as a pill or solid perfume container. In lovely condition with no damage to either the ceramic insert or the outer box.
