A charming pair of antique French salt cellars dating to approximately 1880-1900. These delicate pieces feature ornate, stamped-metal bases with vibrant hand-painted floral enamel in a style reminiscent of classic champlevé. The thin metal craftsmanship is typical of the Belle Époque era, designed to bring elegance to the Victorian table.
Each stand holds its original, removable 'diamond point' cut glass liner. The glass captures light beautifully, complementing the colorful turquoise, red, and pink floral motifs on the base. A perfect addition to a collection of French kitchenalia or as a unique gift for a vintage-inspired home.
Diamond Cut Glass inserts are in mint condition, no chips or cracks. Base colours sharp and intricate metalwork is in A1 condition.
